Jazz Game & Christmas Ornament

Jonathan and I made our own little tradition when we got married. Each year we get an ornament. Usually one that is personalized and different from the year before. This is the one did this year. It is always so exciting when we get them. It will be fun one day to have our tree covered with ornaments we have picked together.

Now on to the Jazz game :) Jonathan and I went on a date to the Jazz game Monday. His broker from work gave him the tickets. We had great seats and were able to go on the floor to hand off the game ball. Then they gave us an autographed ball to keep. It was so much fun. Here are a couple of the pictures.

Don't ask why Jonathan isn't looking at the camera. He was the one taking the picture so you think I would be the one looking away. It is the only one we took of us close up so I am still posting it lol.

All growed up

Well he did it Spencer got married. We are so happy for Spencer and Taylor-Taylor. We all had a great day. The ceremony was really nice. I just kept looking at all my family there and was so grateful to have them in my life. Of course pictures after were freezing! So luckily that didn't take too long. The reception turned out really nice. We always have fun when our whole family gets together. Of course dancing is always the highlight of the night. Jaxson even liked it. We sent him home before it was over but made sure he was able to be there for part of the dancing. He was laughing so hard. It was fun to see him enjoy it as much as I do.

We are so lucky to have such great Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins that we get along with so well. Also we can't forget all our friends that came and helped with so much when my Mom had to go to the Hospital. Everyone really did help so much to make it a great day for Spencer and Taylor-Taylor.

I will post some pictures. They are not the greatest the dang photographer kept getting in my way and her flash messed up the pictures I took. Maybe when they get the professional pictures I will post more so you can see them better. Oh at the end you will a picture of Spencer and Taylor's car before they left. For some odd reason both cars were there so their nice cousins and brother in laws decided to saran wrap the cars together. Such a nice family :)

p.s. If you don't get the lightning bolt thing it is from you me and dupree.

Family Pictures

Here are a few of the family pictures my Dad took for us. We went up to Jonathan's Grandpa's cabin to take them. I am sure Jonathan will be disappointed I didn't post pictures of all the animals we saw while we were up there, but I think these are more important. :)

Jonathan caught looking at the deer up on the mountain. I am pretty sure Jaxson gets his attention span from his dad.

Our Saturday

We had another pretty busy Saturday this week. First we went shopping for things we were unable to find on Friday. Luckily some of the deals were still going. We saw a sit & spin for $10 and I have been holding a manufactors coupon for months just waiting for it to go on sale and the coupon was for $10 off. Everyone was out Friday but Saturday Jonathan and I decided to check Walmart one more time since they would price match the other store. We got the last one they price matched it and took my coupon so we got a sit & spin for free. We were pretty excited since we already went over board on presents.
As we were checking out the checker asked if we had taken Jaxson to get his free picture with Santa. I was excited because there was no way I was going to spend $20 getting one at the mall. I am sure from the picture you can tell Jaxson was not a fan.

Later that day we went to lunch then headed over to my parents to watch the BYU game. My Mom and Dad were still at the hospital so it was just us with Jessie and Brad. It was still a lot of fun. We barbecued during half time. Which made Jonathan happy because Brad brought elk steaks. Of course I just had chicken :).

I have been trying to get a picture of Jaxson in his jersey but the little stinker wouldn't hold still so that is about as good as it gets.

Jaxson loves to look out the windows at Nana and Pappy's watching the dogs run around or Dad outside grilling.

The smart little bugger figured out the he could look through the doggie door for a better view of what Dad was doing. He kept getting his fingers pinched but would go right back over to it.

Of course it didn't help Dad made it a game. That is probably why he didn't mind the pinching.

Jaxson's new thing is "hiding". He loves to get in a corner or somewhere that he is kind of in his own little place. While we were watching the game he kept doing in the living room and sit between the chair and the fish tank. By the end of the game he had a nice little stash of toys there.

Jaxson loves to look at the fish. I am glad I got this picture of him because that is usually where we can find him if he has made a mad dash away from everyone.

Even if our weekend was busy it was fun, and I am grateful for the 4 days I got to spend with Jonathan. It looks like we have another busy week ahead of us so I will have more posts soon. I do have family pictures to post but wanted to wait a couple days for our Christmas card to get out ;). I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and hopefully we will see you at Spencer's wedding this week.

p.s. My Mom just called and moved her legs so they might let her come home today!! Which is a big relief for all of us.

Not funny??

Okay it is a little funny. Jonathan painted a toy box for Jaxson's room before he was born. We had not really put any toys in it, but we rearranged his room last weekend so we could start using it. He is not sure it is okay to take things out. I ended up putting everything he touched in there to try and get him to walk over towards it. He still wouldn't even get close. So being the mean Mom I am I put his beloved teddy bear in it and sat right next to it so he knew it was okay to take things out. He got pretty close but still wouldn't reach in to take anything out. :)

My Little Alligator

Here are pictures of Jaxson's costume. Since he is still too little to trick or treat we just took him in to dad's work for a Halloween parade they were having. We were a little early so we just walked him around to certain people. I forgot my camera of course so I had my Dad take a few pictures when we stopped by there. He looked so cute walking in it, but the nose kept going over his eyes so he was ready for it to be off after all our errands were done.

1-2-3 Go

Here is a video of Jaxson's new "trick". He wont always do it but gets excited whenever you say 1-2-3. He knows we want him to say go and he just smiles like you can't make me :). At least I got a video of him doing it.

p.s. I promise to post pictures of his Halloween costume soon.
